Amsterdam in less than an hour
How about a weekend city break that gets you to Amsterdam in under one hour? KLM – the Dutch airline that flies from all over the UK has up to five flights daily from Newcastle to Amsterdam, with fares starting from £115 return.
KLM also offers a choice from a total of 14 UK departure points, including Edinburgh, Manchester, Leeds-Bradford, Bristol, Birmingham and Cardiff.
KLM offers seamless travel with its quick and easy internet check-in facility. Passengers can check in online between 24 hours and up to one hour before departure.
The Amsterdam tourist board has discount passes such as the I Amsterdam card, which is valid for 24, 48 or 72 hours and includes free entry to many of the most popular attractions as well as a free public transport.
The Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh Museum are among the top attractions covered by the I Amsterdam card, and discounts are also available at selected restaurants, cafes and shops.
