Van Gogh seen at airport!
Tourists passing through Amsterdam's Schiphol airport are being treated to a free exhibition of the work of Vincent Van Gogh. It is called ‘Vincent Van Gogh: Nature Close-Up’, and is on display between piers E and F at the airport until early July this year.
This unique exhibition offers travellers an exclusive opportunity to browse through some of the artists best known works including the famous Almond Tree in Blossom.
Organisers explain how the stand explores how the artist depicted nature in a very unique way by zooming right in to his subject.
TravelSavvy has learnt that a similar artistic exhibition is to run at London Heathrow's terminal 5, it features a 40ft high sculpture made entirely out of luggage lost by the airport in the last 3 hours!
