Celebrities bring glamour to Denver
Denver is seeing celebrity visitors in numbers showing their support for Barack Obama at the Democratic Convention. Fearful that he may be labelled a rock-star candidate, reports indicate he may be keeping his distance.
Among the celebrities thought to be in Denver are actors Ben Affleck, Josh Brolin, Annette Bening, Anne Hathaway, Spike Lee, Susan Sarandon and Charlize Theron. To the disappointment of many Denver fans, Obama-supporting George Clooney is, however, away in Venice at present for that city's Film Festival promoting his latest film.
