A flight from Barcelona marked the start of new flights to and from Spain from Norwich airport in the UK .

The new holiday break routes, operated by Spanish airline LTE, between Norwich and Alicante, Palma and Barcelona started on Saturday.

The routes mark a welcome return of holiday flights to Spanish hotspots after they were controversially scrapped by Flybe last year.

The first flight to arrive in Norwich on Saturday was a flight from Barcelona. Spanish guests were taken on popular tourist destinations in Norwich, including the castle and cathedral.
