It has been confirmed that Hollywood super-celebs Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, have purchased a $70 million chateau in the French Riviera. (Probably after reading one of our TravelSavvy travel guides!)
The pair who married several years ago, looked at almost 100 properties, before settling on the 35-bedroom estate. This is a humble dwelling which its own vineyard, forrest and even a moat!
Local Frenchmen confirmed, that the couple bought it directly from the owner after noticing it from the window of their helicopter. This is of course how many of us find our next home.
Brad and Angelina are apparently moving into the 'Chateaux Miraval' sometime in August, which will be around the time that Jolie is expected to give birth to twins. We all hope the couple enjoy the region as much as we do.
