Monaco tops prestige address list

The Dow Jones publication, Wealth Bulletin has listed the top ten most expensive streets in the world based on per square metre price. Top of the list was Avenue Princess Grace in Monaco.

Named after Grace Kelly, the avenue overlooks the bay and the mega-yachts which make up the famed seascape of Monaco. Properties on Avenue Princess Grace rarely appear in the local property classifieds but if a property does become available, you can expect to pay up to US$41 million – the Bulletin reckons this works out to be US$190,000 per square metre, give or take the odd thousand dollars.

For those that want a smart address, but reckon that Avenue Princess Grace is a little pricey, here´s the Bulletin's Top 10 list:

7.Via Suvretta, St Moritz. US$38,000 per sqm.
8.Carolwood Drive, Los Angeles. US$30,000 per sqm.
9.Wolseley Road, Sydney. US$28,000 per sqm.
10.Altamount Road, Mumbai. US$$25,000 per sqm.
