Monaco and Nice figure in star holidays
Movie superstars Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have flown into the French Riviera for a city break holiday stopover near Monaco.
They flew in by private jet to the seaside villa of Microsoft billionaire Paul Allen. The Hollywood celebrities will be staying at his villa, between Nice and Monaco, while they search for a more permanent location to spend the next few months.
The stars arrived with two nannies and three security guards in tow. The villa has a staff of 12 and is said to be heavily fortressed with fences and security gates.
They will scout out holiday homes in the Monaco and Nice region as the family plans to be there for the summer birth of Angelina’s baby. While on the French Riviera, Angelina and Brad will attend the 61st Cannes Film Festival.
Two of Jolie's films will be previewed over the week long event. Changeling, directed by Clint Eastwood, is a 1920’s kidnap thriller. The other film is Kung Fu Panda, also starring Jack Black.
