Rival groups may clash in Riga march
Fears grow over clashes between rival groups at this year's war veterans march in Riga.
Right wing members of the Union of National Forces have been given the go-ahead to march on Legionnaire's Day on March 16. They are likely to be joined by the neo Nazi German National Democratic Party.
But the antifacist Union of National Forces has vowed to march as well despite a ban. Authorities refused permission because the group has no official standing.
Clashes took place in 2005 and 2007 and now police fear more violence this year. The evnet was banned completely in 2006.
