Christmas market in Venice from Ryanair
Ryanair has Christmas flights throughout December to pick up a bargain in Venice. From 2 December through the 24th, Venice's Christmas market will be held in Campo Santo Stefano, a bustling area by the Guggenheim Museum, Palazzo Grassi and Gallerie dell'Accademia. The market is made up of 30 small wooden houses similar to the ones in Northern European countries.
Stands will be offering a variety of wares from ceramics to dolls and giftware, and also objects for home decoration, Christmas ornaments, Murano Doc glass, custom jewelry, masks, handmade soap, traditional sweets.
There is also the Gourmands Square, a space especially for producers from all over Italy to sell their gourmet foods. As well, the market will feature shows and concerts in the square with lots of entertainment for the little ones.
