Woody Allen at Venice Film Festival
American filmmaker Woody Allen is to present his latest movie 'Cassandra's Dream' at the 64th Venice Film Festival to be held on the Lido, Venice, this September.
The movie stars Ewan McGregor and Colin Farrell as brothers who are in serious need to cash. At 72 years, Woody Allen has picked up his fair share of accolades with three Oscars and 16 Academy Award nominations in a long career. He still makes movies at a rate of about one a year and has no intention to retire.
Though many of nis movies have enjoyed big commercial or artistic success - 'Annie Hall, 'Manhattan' and 'Sleeper' to name just three - others have been a flop both critically and at the box office.
Allen hopes his latest offering will impress judges at the Venice Film Festival in September.
